2013/02/12

On 4 February ACME opened its 30th branch in Haiti in Pignon, a small city in the north of Haiti. The opening is part of the expansion plan outside Port-au-Prince and the continuation of an expansion in the northern part of the country. With this branch, ACME has now more branches outside Port-au-Prince and is entering is continuing its expansion in rural areas. Incofin IM heartily congratulates ACME on opening its 30th branch.

The new branch is the farthest in the north of ACME (Association pour la Coopération de la Micro et Petite Entreprise), an Haitian MFI founded in 1997 as an NGO and transformed in 2009. The MFI aims to bring a rapid, quantitatively important solution, at the lowest possible cost and without unnecessary constraints, to the capitalization needs of a maximum number of small and medium sized businesses of the informal sector. ACME is the second largest MFI in Haiti both in terms of clients and portfolio.
