Job description

The FP&A analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, planning, budgeting, modelling, forecasting, reporting and stress testing of Incofin Investment Management and its funds under management. By doing so she/he will drive profitable growth for Incofin. She/he will need to closely work with and support the Head of Finance, the Fund Development Team, the Risk Team and the Investment Managers. The FP&A analyst will report to the Senior FP&A analyst.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget and Forecasting Fund Management company

  • Coordinate the budget process from A-Z
  • Set targets and discuss them with the regional managers
  • Set up metrics that drive action, track them and communicate these with management
  • Develop project road maps
  • Work on a further standardization and automation of the rolling forecast process
  • Perform profitability analysis and suggest action to drive profitable growth

 

Analyzing and reporting of actuals

  • Analyse actual figures (volumes, staffing, P&L,…) compared to previous periods , budgets & latest forecasts
  • Provide insight in main result drivers and major gaps compared to target and previous periods
  • Assess main risk & opportunities compared to latest forecast
  • Deliver an insightful and complete presentation of the financials on a periodical base towards management

 

Budgeting and Liquidity forecast funds under management

  • Closely work together with the Fund managers to make up-to-date liquidity forecasts of the funds under management
  • Assist the Senior FP&A analyst in budget process of the funds and over time perform budgets for certain funds
  • Perform stress testing

 

Assist Business Development team

  • Assist Fund Development team in their fundraising activities
  • Build financial models for future funds
  • Join work groups for RFPs, tenders, …

 

Ad hoc analyses

  • Perform all kind of analysis: profitability, productivity, FX impact, …
  • Bring insight in costs
  • Assist in onboarding of new funds

 

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Master in Commercial Engineering/ Applied Economic Sciences
  • Audit/Controlling experience from top firm or management Trainee program
  • First relevant experience in FP&A
  • International experience (work/ education)
  • 3 to 4 years experience
