To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Agro Investment Analyst for Latin America, who will be based in the office in Bogotá.
Assignment: Supporting all activities related to the portfolio of agro debt investments in Latin America, including:
- Supporting the execution of due diligence analysis (desk review, eligibility criteria checks, preparation of financial reports, field visits to remote rural areas in Latin America)
- Monitoring investments (reporting and monitoring of covenants and other financial and commercial indicators)
- Supporting Environmental & Social reporting
- Supporting the preparation of documents for legal closings
- Drafting and presenting benchmark reports
- Keeping abreast of economic, financial and political developments in the region
Profile:
- Academic degree in finance / economics or equivalent by experience
- At least 2 years of experience
- Strong analytical mind and technical skills
- Passionate about agribusiness, sustainability and responsible commerce
- Actively seeking opportunities to work in impact investing industry
- Committed to social objectives
- Entrepreneurial, practical, result-oriented and generous
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with high level of transparency
- Hands-on attitude and resilient to stress
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is required, other languages such as French would be an advantage
- Good IT user skills (excellent knowledge of MS Office)
- Knowledge of the Latin American context
- Good team player
