Incofin Investment Management is a specialized fund management company with more than 10 years of experience in microfinance and currently 300 M EUR assets under management. Incofin IM manages the following funds and facilities: Incofin CVSO (30 M EUR), Impulse (43 M EUR), Volksvermogen (10 M EUR), VDK (75 M EUR), Rural Impulse Fund I (30 M EUR), and Rural Impulse Fund II (120 M EUR). Investors are mainly Western Europe and US based, including ~50% public investors (DFIs such as IFC, KfW, EIB, FMO, BIO etc) and ~50% private (institutional investors such as banks, pension funds etc). The total investment portfolio includes over 100 MFIs in more than 40 countries around the world. Incofin IM has a strong track record, having executed more than 400 transactions since 2003.

Incofin IM, as an Asset Manager, is growing rapidly and to keep pace with the demand, the company is now seeking to strengthen its Belgian investment management team. Currently, the requirement is for the position of Microfinance Private Equity specialist:
Designation: Microfinance Private Equity (PE) specialist (mainly for Asian market)
Location: Antwerp (Belgium)
No. of Positions: 1 (One)
Desired Educational Background and Work Experience:
- At least 5+ years
- Relevant PE experience including effective transactional experience is a must
- High level educational background in finance
- Thorough knowledge of Asian market and familiarity with Asian culture is highly appreciated
- Knowledge of corporate law is highly appreciated

Roles and Responsibilities
Assisting the Director Private Equity (PE) and the regional investment managers for Asia in sourcing and closing private equity transactions in MFIs. This function includes:
- Developing commercial relationships with MFIs
- Sourcing a pipeline of PE investments
- Conducting research regarding the target PE investment opportunities: analysis of the financial, technical and strategic elements of the transactions
- Performing on-site due diligence on target companies
- Verification of business-plans of MFIs and valuation of PE transactions
- Drafting and negotiating of detailed Term Sheet, Shareholders’ Agreements, Subscription Agreements and other relevant documentation of the equity and quasi-equity investments
- Monitoring equity investments
- Taking up board seats
